About Ground source heat pumps
We are working on evaluating the performance of ground source heat pump as a new energy source and improving related technology. The underground heat remains stable all year round, and the underground temperature below 10 meters is unaffected by changes in surface temperature and is approximately the same as the annual average temperature of the area. Utilizes the temperature difference between above-ground and underground to use thermal energy efficiently.
Air-source heat pumps are affected by changes in outdoor temperature, which can impact the COP. However, ground-source heat pumps can provide a stable COP throughout the year.
*COP: Coefficient of performance (Ratio of output to input)
There is a temperature difference between the outside air and the underground in winter and summer. Utilizing this temperature difference, heat exchange is performed efficiently.
Advantages of
Geothermal Heat
- Significant savings on utility costs such as electricity bills
- Contributing to reducing CO2 emissions
- The heat island effect can be prevented by not releasing heat outdoors.
- It can be utilized in settings where conventional air conditioning systems are unsuitable.
- Promote regional revitalization through year-round farming in the agricultural field.
