About HI-TEC Inc.

HI-TEC Inc. aims to reach the moon in 10 years.

Message from the President

To truly understand a field site, being on-site is crucial.
I'm eager to contribute my skills, passion, and sincerity wherever I'm needed in the world.

In 1975, " East Berlin," which used to be a part of East Germany, is the starting point for my fieldwork. At 19, I was assigned overseas to survey building construction sites for a year. After returning to Japan, I conducted survey work at dam and tunnel sites across the country.

In 1995, I received a request from a university in Giza, Egypt, for technical cooperation in the restoration and preservation study of the Great Sphinx. Subsequently, I started working on the Mogao Caves in Dunhuang, China and engaged in World Heritage conservation studies for several years.

In 1999, I founded HI-TEC Inc. as a geological survey consulting company. Our primary focus is infrastructure development projects aimed at disaster prevention, disaster mitigation, and enhancing national resilience. We have completed projects across Japan, building a solid track record. We have also undertaken overseas work, including heritage preservation surveys in Cappadocia, Turkey, infrastructure development projects in Laos, Myanmar, Malaysia, and JICA projects in Indonesia. As a field engineer, I have worked tirelessly in various environments to ensure the success of our projects.

The President & CEO KOMIYA Kunimori

Company Philosophy

HI-TEC Inc. mainly provides the services below as our core technologies for striving for disaster prevention, disaster mitigation, and enhancing national resilience.

①Geological survey

  • Applying for drilling method utilized multiple patent technologies.
  • Preserving the quality of drilling, coring, and sampling obtained by our technologies.
  • Education of drilling operator (practice and theory of Geotechnical engineering)

②Hydrological and environmental survey

  • Sampling and data obtained by professional engineers
  • Groundwater flow and high analysis technologies

③Infrastructure maintenance
(Highway, railway, etc.)

  • Combination of conventional maintenance technologies and updated equipment by professional engineers

"Acquisition of accurate information and collection of high-quality samples," "accurate analysis," and "clarifying consideration" on-site are all essential basic intelligence for "developing safe and secure infrastructure to protect human lives."

Our core technology, "field power" consists of four factors.

  • ・Listening power:

    Accurately understand the contractee's intention

  • ・Looking power:

    Investigating from a wide perspective.

  • ・Observing power:

Observing the details of the field site.

  • ・Diagnosing power:

Accurately determine parts that cannot be seen on site.

In recent years, there has been growing concern about the severity and frequency of disasters caused by climate change. As a result, addressing vulnerability through infrastructure maintenance and promoting sustainable development have become urgent issues. To contribute towards solving these pressing issues, we have set clear goals and will do everything in our power to achieve them.

  • ①Creating a program to train employees in on-site research techniques and observation skills can be an effective way to pass on knowledge to future generations.
  • ②Utilizing ICT/AI and developing labor-saving and efficiency-enhancing technologies that secure future leaders and contribute to the organization's growth amid population decline.
  • ③Realistic DX promotion that utilizes on-site capabilities helps in technology succession and developing high-precision technology.

Our company has consistently strived to give back to local communities through geological surveys since our founding.
The origin of our company's founding is to be "Earth's HOME DOCTOR," like the doctors who work hard and actively participate in the front lines.
