The Hybrid Drilling Method is a unique drilling technique that allows the drilling medium to be changed based on the geological conditions. The primary medium used for drilling is fine-grained air bubbles, which help obtain "undisturbed core samples" without generating excessive water pressure. The posting period for the "Hybrid Boring Method," registered as KT-000109 in the NETIS New Technology Utilization System since 2002, ended in March 2011. Although the posting on NETIS has ended, we encourage you to continue using this innovative drilling method.

Performance of core samples obtained by Hybrid Drilling Method
From 1992 to 2011, the total length of core samples obtained by the Hybrid Drilling Method exceeded 20,000 m. For most of the sites, we have been providing accurate data with a small number of surveys for elucidating geological conditions that were uncertain even after performing lots of conventional drilling methods. The maximum excavation depth achieved through this method is 250 meters.
